How important is screen size for consumers when determining for next smart phone. I phone user focuses more on image quality rather actual size of the screen.
Certainly you can see the appeal of a larger screen, particularly the people who read e-books and watch movies on their phones like larger screen. There is an impression that larger screen improves user experience and make touch control easier.
However, it is well within capabilities of Apple to make a big screen with a thin bezel that will still have a smallish form factor. The iphone needs at least a 4 screen. The larger screen of Android models has helped distinguish them from the iphone.
People who buy Apple products want the latest, greatest huge and clear screen. It is reasonable to push screen technology to be bigger, clearer and use less power than pushing battery technology. People want light phones, even with huge screens. The bigger screen doesnt mean bigger battery too. If they make it bigger, and keep the overall case size the same that would be fine.
I phone would definitely go for a 4 SCREEN. Obviously for Apps you want the larger screen but for a phone you need smaller size. A bigger screen will be better for viewing movies and playing games.
A larger screen would be brilliant, you will be able to use page like Wikipedia without pitch-to-zoom. The smaller screen like the iphones needs to zoom in or risk hitting the wrong link.
Now the user like to go in the iphone 5 LARGER SCREEN Apple should make the next phones screen larger, without increasing the size of the phone.
